On Wednesday August 11, the Neighborhood Services Department in Partnership with the Office of Equity, Community and Human Rights (ECHO), continued its Lovin’ U Tour with the second of a series of neighborhood-based block parties in the Garden Hills Neighborhood. The Lovin’ U Tour is designed to proactively engage neighborhoods throughout the city with resources and information to promote individual and neighborhood health and wellness. Our event on Hedge Rd. in the Garden Hills neighborhood, provided an opportunity to engage and educate neighborhood residents with resources and education.  It also provided a family friendly environment for neighbors, city staff, and community service providers to enjoy each other’s company. The next stop on the Lovin’ U Tour will take place on August 19, from 9:00 – 11:00 pm at the City owned lot at Washington and Neil St. Please consider joining us for our Lovin’ U Tour as we take our message of love, community and unity to the Heart of it all, in downtown Champaign.
