The Champaign Fire Department responded to a working fire at 1902 Garden Hills Dr., Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at 4:22 a.m. Upon arrival on the scene, fire crews found very light smoke coming from the front door of a single-family home. Crews quickly extinguished a small fire in the kitchen using a fire extinguisher.
