City Promotes 'Adopt A Drain' Fridays

Starting today, on Friday’s throughout the year, the City will feature a drain available for adoption through our Adopt A Drain program. Today’s drain, Hugh, is found near the beautiful Morrissey Park in Devonshire Subdivision at 1110 Harrington Drive. He is approximately 50 years old, enjoys being outdoors, and loves a good thunderstorm. He needs someone willing to spend about five minutes four times a year to help keep the leaves and grass out of his grates. He is looking forward to meeting his new personal caretaker soon!

Visit champaignil.gov/adoptadrain to adopt this or another drain in the community.
