NSD Hosts Virtual Neighborhood Leaders Meeting

The Neighborhood Services Department Coordination Division hosted its monthly virtual leaders meeting on Wednesday, August 5th. The meeting provided an opportunity for the Champaign Police Department to share information regarding gun violence within the Champaign community. It also provided an opportunity to share how neighborhood groups could assist in addressing this issue in a proactive manner.

The monthly virtual meeting is a great opportunity for peer to peer sharing and provides the Coordination Division a platform to engage our registered groups with timely information to impart to their neighbors.
On Thursday, August 13, we will be hosting Unit 4 Superintendent Dr. Susan Zola in a special meeting for registered groups to discuss the Unit 4 school reopening plan.
