Request For Letters Of Interest – Traffic Engineering Services In Champaign
The City of Champaign is currently accepting Letters of Interest for professional engineering services related to traffic engineering.
The City of Champaign (City) is currently accepting Letters of Interest for professional engineering services related to traffic engineering. The City intends to use a qualification-based selection process for the procurement of these services (City of Champaign Administrative Policy 2.08).

The selection will include assisting City Planning and Public Works staff with the evaluation of, and development of an implementation plan for, the remaining elements outlined in the City’s Bicycle Vision. It will also include on-call services for various traffic engineering tasks should the need arise. These include, but are not limited to, all-way stop and traffic signal warrant studies, Intersection Design Studies, uncontrolled crosswalk evaluations, traffic counts, crash history analysis, signal timing evaluations, street lighting, development of pavement marking plans and specifications, and the development of cost estimates for various traffic safety improvements. This selection will cover a three-year period coinciding with the City’s fiscal years of 2021, 2022 and 2023. Review the Letter of Interest.
