Springfield Avenue To Close At Wright Street Next Week
The west leg of the intersection of Springfield Avenue and Wright Street will be closed to allow for a storm sewer installation.

On Monday, August 3, the Multimodal Corridor Enhancement Project (MCORE) will begin the installation of storm sewer across Springfield Avenue at Wright Street.

Starting August 3, 2020, the west leg of the intersection of Springfield Avenue and Wright Street will be closed to allow for the storm sewer installation across Springfield Avenue. Westbound Springfield Avenue traffic will be diverted north onto Wright Street and up to University Avenue. Eastbound Springfield Avenue traffic will be diverted north onto Fourth Street and up to University Avenue.
During this phase of construction, it is highly recommended that vehicles traveling through campus seek alternate routes across Wright Street. The work will take approximately one to two weeks to complete, depending on weather.
