On Sunday night, Channahon's Police Department arrested two men from Pontiac, Ill., in connection with allegations that they possessed a substance containing heroin within the Channahon community, court records show.

Channahon Police told Patch that the two men were pulled over during a routine traffic stop after the pair made an improper turn against the red light at the Channahon exit for Route 6. There's a big sign on the stoplight alerting motorists that it is illegal to make turn while the light is red.
