$50K Powerball Tickets Sold at Channahon, Minooka Stores

It's not the jackpot, but it's certainly a good start.

CHANNAHON, MINOOKA, IL — A Channahon and Minooka store each sold a $50,000 Powerball ticket in the Jan. 13 drawing, according to the Illinois Lottery.

The Channahon ticket was purchased at Circle K, located at 26950 W Eames, while the Minooka ticket was bought at Pilot Travel Center, located at 301 N Ridge Ave. The stores will each receive a $500 bonus for selling the winning tickets.

Illinois Lottery players have one year from the drawing date to claim their Powerball prizes.

The Powerball jackpot is currently on the rise again after no one won in the Saturday drawing. Jackpots begin at $40 million dollars. The jackpot for Wednesday’s drawing currently sits at $50 million.
