$550,000 Lottery Winner Sold At Minooka Business
Illinois lottery officials made the announcement on Tuesday.

MINOOKA, IL — A $550,000 winning Illinois lottery ticket was sold on Monday at a business in Minooka. Illinois lottery officials said the Lucky Day Lotto ticket was sold at the Jewel grocery store on Ridge Road. Someone matched all five numbers – 16 - 19 - 26 - 36 - 40 – to win the jackpot. The retailer will receive a bonus of $5,500, or 1 percent of the prize amount, for selling the winning ticket, lottery officials said.
Lastly, the Illinois Lottery reminds winners to sign the back of the ticket and keep it in a safe place until they visit one of the Lottery’s five Prize Centers in Chicago, Des Plaines, Rockford, Springfield or Fairview Heights.
Winners have one year from the original drawing date to claim their prize.
