• Road closures set for I-55 at I-80 in Joliet area during two nights this week (shawlocal.com) — Overnight lane reductions and full closures on I-55 at I-80 will affect Channahon-area drivers between midnight and 5 a.m. Wednesday and Thursday. Work to rebuild the I-80 bridges over I-55 in Joliet, Channahon and Shorewood will bring detours via I-80, Houbolt Road and Ridge Road, so plan extra time if you commute through this stretch.
