An afternoon with Dr. Sterling, Saturday, April 12th at the Joliet Area Historical Museum.
If you love the history of Joliet, you won't want to miss this special program! Join us as we welcome historian Dr. Robert Sterling to the Museum for an engaging program held in conjunction with the Museum's Special Exhibit, The Emergence of Modern Joliet: Art, Industry & Urbanization. Dr. Sterling will share photos from his vast collection to trace the emergence of modern Joliet from 1870-1930.
Dr. Sterling will sign his books at the conclusion of the program, which are available for purchase in the Museum Gift Shop. Refreshments and appetizers will be served as part of the program.
Advance registration is recommended and can be made by visiting the Museum's website at www.jolietmuseum.org or by calling (815) 723-5201 ext.235. The cost of the program is $5.00 for Museum members and $8.00 for non-members.
Free parking across the street from the Museum at Webster & Ottawa streets.
