The Channahon Police are aware of the peaceful BLM protest on Friday, June 12, in Central Park along Route 6. We have been in contact with the organizers, and support their right to peacefully protest and deliver their message. We anticipate nothing less than lawful behavior from the participants and the public, but are prepared to provide for the safety of the community.
