Braidwood Home Invasion Injures Woman: Complaint
The Braidwood Police Department delivered Jeremy Hill to the Will County Jail early Monday morning. He faces eight charges.

BRAIDWOOD, IL — A Will County judge has set bail at $500,000 for a 44-year-old Braidwood man charged with committing a home invasion and attacking the woman who lived at the house in Braidwood. Monday's arrest of Jeremy C. Hill comes one year after he was convicted of felony domestic abuse, the criminal complaint noted.
The Will County State's Attorney's Office of Jim Glasgow has charged Hill with eight crimes: home invasion, residential burglary, two counts of domestic battery, criminal trespass to a resident, obstructing a peace officer and two counts of unlawful violation of an order of protection.
On March 4, Braidwood police served Hill with an order of protection notifying him to stay away from a property in the 100 block of South Railroad Street, court documents show. Then, 12 days later, Brown showed up at the dwelling and injured the woman who lives there, striking her in the head, Hill's criminal complaint states.
