Braidwood Man Kept Stealing From Home Depot: Complaint
Bolingbrook's Police Department has a bench warrant out for this man's arrest.

BRAIDWOOD, IL — Bolingbrook Police detectives are trying to capture a 28-year-old Braidwood man in connection with three different retail thefts over the summer at the Home Depot store on North Weber Road. The criminal complaint against Thomas Shaver was filed Oct. 4 at the Will County Courthouse.
Shaver is accused of stealing a Torch kit from the Home Depot on Aug. 7, and court records show it has a value of more than $300.
On Aug. 2, Shaver is accused of stealing a water softener from the Bolingbrook Home Depot on North Weber Road and the full retail value exceeds $300, the criminal complaint noted.

On July 18, the complaint notes, Shaver stole a sump pump from the same Home Depot in Bolingbrook "without paying the full retail value of such merchandise."
As of Tuesday, Oct. 8, the Braidwood criminal defendant remained at large.

Court records listed Shaver as residing in the 100 block of South Division Street.
