Braidwood Meth Dealer Faces 4 Felony Charges: Prosecutors
The 53-year-old Stanley Cochran Jr. was booked into the Will County Jail by Braidwood police on Dec. 27. He remains in custody this week.

BRAIDWOOD, IL — A Will County judge has set bail at $300,000 for Stanley Cochran Jr., a 53-year-old Braidwood resident arrested last week on felony charges accusing him of dealing hundreds of grams of methamphetamine and possessing cocaine.
Braidwood police arrested Cochran, who lives in the 400 block of West Second Street, on Dec. 27. He remains in the Will County Jail, unable to post 10 percent of his bail.
According to the criminal complaint, Cochran is charged by Will County prosecutors with unlawful possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver, two counts of unlawful possession of methamphetamine and one count of possession of controlled substances, which was cocaine.

Two of the felony charges accuse Cochran of possessing between 100 and 400 grams of meth on the date of his arrest.
Cochran was in the Will County Jail for two days in late September.

Braidwood police arrested him at the time on charges of possessing between 5 and 15 grams of meth and possession of drug paraphernalia, jail logs indicate.
At the time of Cochran's arrest, Braidwood police also arrested Charles Kalush, 53, of Saunemin. Kalush remains in the Will County Jail facing one charge of meth possession. He remains unable to post 10 percent of his $7,500 bail, jail logs show.
