Candy Company Opens New Packaging Center in Bolingbrook

A candy company has opened a new facility in Bolingbrook, according to a press release.

Ferrara Candy Company announced Monday that the business was expanding its Illinois manufacturing network, which included a new packaging center in Bolingbrook and increasing the capacity and capabilities of its Bellwood location. The packaging center comes almost a year after the company opened a new 750,000-square-foot facility in Bolingbrook.

These moves are expected to create more than 100 jobs in the area over the next year and a half. The expansion is part of a $250 billion in products the company will be supplying to Walmart stores through 2023.
