Channahon Board OKs Bluff Road Interchange Agreement

MCHS board has also signed off on agreement to use tax revenue to fund improvements.

Channahon village trustees this week signed off on an intergovernmental agreement that will allow the village to use property tax revenue to fund I-55/Bluff Road interchange improvements over the next 15 years, Suburban Life reported.

The Minooka Community High School Board has also approved the agreement, and the Channahon District 17 board is slated to vote on the proposal Jan. 26.

Improvements include expanded ramps, additional turn lanes to Bluff Road and new traffic signals.
