CHANNAHON, IL — A 19-year-old man from Channahon remains in the Will County Jail almost a month after Channahon's Police Department arrested him on three charges including unlawful possession of a stolen vehicle. Ryan Walls, who lives on South Valley Drive, was taken into custody following his arrest March 14.

A Will County judge set bail at $100,000.

According to the complaint, Walls is accused of possessing a 2018 Dodge Journey on March 14, knowing the vehicle to be stolen. He is also charged with two counts of burglary.

Will County prosecutors say that Walls broke into a Dodge Dart belonging to a Channahon woman on March 14. The second burglary charge does not identify the make and model of the vehicle Walls is accused of entering, also on March 14 in the village of Channahon.

Court files indicate Walls has retained private counsel, Joliet criminal defense attorney Paul Napolski, whose law offices are on Essington Road.
