Channahon to Hold Citizens Police Academy
The Academy starts Feb. 18 and meets every Thursday night from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. until May 5.

CHANNAHON, IL — The Channahon Police Department will be hosting its 7th annual Citizens Police Academy.
The Citizens Police Academy is a 12 week program that allows Channahon Residents to get a firsthand view of situations police officers are faced with on a daily basis. Residents can also expect to get experience in a variety of law enforcement topics taught by members of the police department.
The Academy starts Feb. 18 and meets every Thursday night from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. until May 5.

The main goals of the Citizens Police Academy is to allow the Channahon Police Department to develop a better working relationship with the community it serves and give the community an opportunity to learn more about its police department.
Program information and applications are available at the Channahon Police Department located at 24555 S. Navajo Drive in Channahon.
