Are you surprised by the location of the offense?

CHANNAHON, IL - The Channahon Police Department arrested two men on Mother's Day after people visiting the Pilot Travel Center thought they saw a semitrailer burglary in progress. Shortly after 8 a.m., Channahon officers were summoned to a semi-trailer burglary at the Pilot. "Witnesses reported two men cutting a lock off the trailer and unloading boxes into a mini-van," police stated.
According to a police release, one of the men was reportedly the semi-trailer's driver. Both the mini-van and the semi-trailer subsequently left after the boxes were unloaded.
Officers located the semi-trailer at the Manor Motel and spoke with the driver, Sarkis Dishchyan, 39, and an assistant driver, Antonio Higareda Jr., 24. Eventually, a police K9 alerted on the boxes inside of their truck, and officers discovered marijuana inside each box, according to police.

"A total of approximately 125 pounds of marijuana and more than 1,100 pills of (ecstasy) were found inside the boxes. Both Dishchyan and Higareda were taken into custody without incident and are currently held at the Will County Adult Correction Facility," Channahon police stated.
Jail logs list Dishchyan, 39, as being a resident of Van Nuys, Calif., however, he was arrested last July by the Joliet Police Department on three serious felonies, Will County's jail logs show: aggravated battery causing great bodily harm, aggravated battery at a public place and aggravated battery to a police officer. In that case, a judge set his bail at $30,000 and he came up with 10 percent roughly 24 hours later.
