Channahon Man Charged In New Lenox Burglary
The Channahon man faces recent criminal charges in Channahon, New Lenox and Joliet.

CHANNAHON, IL — A 37-year-old Channahon man who lives on West McClintock Road remains in the Will County Jail in connection with a recent burglary in New Lenox as well as other crimes in surrounding Will County communities.
A criminal complaint filed late last week by the Will County State's Attorney's Office indicates that Brandon Cracraft burglarized a gray Ford Expedition belonging to a senior citizen in New Lenox.
The New Lenox Police Department's complaint indicates that during the commission of the burglary on Dec. 30, Cracraft "caused damage to said motor vehicle."

Joliet Police officers arrested the Channahon man on Jan. 6. and in addition to the New Lenox burglary, Cracraft has been charged with multiple counts of retail theft and theft from other neighboring communities, court files show.
- Joliet Police charged him with committing retail theft and theft on Dec. 28.
- Channahon Police charged him with committing a theft on Dec. 27.
- New Lenox Police also charged him with committing two counts of retail theft on Dec. 14.
In sum, Cracraft's total bail for all his pending criminal cases at the Will County Courthouse is $75,000.

As of Tuesday night, Jan. 14, Cracaft remained in the custody of the Will County Jail, unable to post 10 percent.
