Channahon Police Charge Woman With 3 Felony Thefts

The Will County State's Attorney's Office recently filed several theft charges against Jessica Lukowski, a Bourbonnais resident.

CHANNAHON, IL — A 30-year-old woman from Bourbonnais has been charged with three felony counts of theft following a Channahon Police Department criminal investigation.

The criminal complaint states that Jessica Lukowski used deception to obtain between $500 and $10,000 cash from Empire Moulding on April 19. Her second charge states that Lukowski used deception to obtain between $500 and $10,000 from Holland L.P. between May 11-21.

Her third charge indicates the Boubonnais woman exerted unauthorized control over cash from the Crete Public Library on May 26 and "said property was governmental property."

This month's criminal complaint against Lukowski was submitted by Channahon Police Detective Andrew McClellan.

Will County Jail records show that Lukowski was booked into custody on July 6, and she was released from custody July 10 after posting 10 percent of her $20,000 bail.
