Channahon's Lone Star Likely Total Loss After Fire
Patrons and staff were inside the restaurant at the time, but everyone was able to get out safely.

The Lone Star Restaurant at 25208 W. Eames St. in Channahon caught fire late Wednesday afternoon, according to Channahon Fire Protection Chief John Petrakis
Petrakis said it appears that the restaurant is a total loss after a fire broke out, although the cause is still under investigation.

Patrons and staff were inside the restaurant at the time and contractors were on the roof doing some repairs, according to Petrakis. Everyone was able to get outside safely and no injuries were reported.
The restaurant will be closed indefinitely. Firefighters arrived on scene at around 5:52 p.m and remained on scene until 8:45 p.m.
