Child In Morris Dies After ATV Crash: Sheriff
The Grundy County Sheriff's responded to the ATV crash on Saturday.

MORRIS, IL — The Grundy County Sheriff's Office announced on Monday afternoon that a child who was seriously injured in an all-terrain vehicle collision on Saturday has died. The sheriff's office issued a statement indicating that deputies and emergency paramedics were called North Dwight Road shortly before noon on Saturday.
"On scene, an unresponsive male juvenile was located pinned underneath an overturned ATV," the Grundy County Sheriff's Office said. "The child was found wearing a helmet ... Due to the seriousness of his injuries, the juvenile was immediately airlifted to an area trauma center. The sheriff's deputies reported the incident occurred on private property."
The county police agency in Morris said it was notified on Sunday that the child had died.
