Child Pornography Arrest Made In Minooka: Police

Minooka police also announced that they seized magic mushrooms from the house of 37-year-old Michael J. Chalifoux.

MINOOKA, IL — The Minooka Police Department announced that a raid took place Tuesday morning in the 500 block of Lily Court that resulted in child pornography charges against 37-year-old resident Michael J. Chalifoux.

Police said the investigation came through a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. During Tuesday's search warrant, digital images of known child pornography and psilocybin mushrooms were recovered, Minooka Police Chief Justin Meyer said.

Michael was booked into the Grundy County Jail to await a bail hearing, police said.
