Convicted Felon With Gun Arrested On I-80: Grundy Sheriff
On Sunday, a 27-year-old man from Lafayette, Indiana was taken into custody by Grundy County Sheriff's deputies.

MORRIS, IL — A 27-year-old convicted from Lafayette, Indiana was arrested by Grundy County Sheriff's deputies on Sunday night because Katren Kelly is a convicted felon who has no right to possess a gun, according to his arrest report.
Sunday's arrest of the Indiana man happened around 9:40 p.m. in the 11200 block of west Interstate 80 around Morris.
Kelly is being charged with unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon and driving on a suspended or revoked driver's license.

Sheriff's deputies monitoring I-80 stopped his car near the 112-mile marker.
Grundy's deputies collected a 40-caliber Glock handgun from inside Kelly's vehicle, and the Lafayette, Indiana native was transported to the Grundy County Jail, the arrest report showed.
