COVID-19 Prompts Channahon Village Hall To Close For Days

Village officials in Channahon want residents to know that staff are still available by phone and by email to answer any questions.

CHANNAHON, IL — Channahon village officials announced Monday that the rise in COVID-19 cases across the region has prompted them to close Village Hall to the public this entire week.

"We intend to reopen to the public on Monday, January 3," village staff posted in a news release.

A blood drive scheduled for Tuesday at the Village Hall has been canceled.

Despite the closure of Village Hall, Channahon staff will be available over the phone and by email to assist residents. People are urged to call 815-467-6644 and staff will route the phone calls to the appropriate personnel.
