Deadly Motorcycle Crash In Minooka

The Will County Coroner's Office said the 57-year-old man was pronounced dead in Joliet at the AMITA hospital.

MINOOKA, IL — A 57-year-old man from Lake Station, Ind., was killed early Thursday morning after being involved in a motorcycle crash at South Bell Road and East Condor Court, authorities said. Raymond Navarro had to tried to swerve his motorcycle to avoid hitting a wild animal, according to the Will County Coroner's Office.

The area where the crash occurred is rural.

An ambulance rushed Navarro to AMITA Health Saint Joseph Medical Center, and he was pronounced dead around 3:25 a.m. Thursday. The Grundy County Sheriff's Office is conducting the investigation into the fatal wreck.
