Ellen Bollino named Manager at Advocate South Suburban Hospital

Ellen Bollino, of Braidwood, Ill., has been named Manager of the Emergency Department at Advocate South Suburban Hospital in Hazel Crest, Ill. She took on the new role on April 4, 2016.

In this role, Bollino will be responsible for the coordination of the overall operations of the Emergency Department. She will monitor standards of nursing practice, ensure availability and appropriate utilization of resources, and support collaboration between nurses, physicians and other staff.

Most recently, she was Manager of the Emergency Department and Outpatient Observation at Riverside Hospital in Kankakee, Ill., where she served until joining Advocate.

Bollino holds an Associates degree in Nursing from Kankakee Community College, and a Bachelors of Nursing and a Masters in Nursing Education from Olivet Nazarene University.
