MINOOKA, IL — The Illinois State Police and Illinois State Fire Marshal's Office have been called to help investigate Thursday morning's explosion in a Minooka subdivision. Nobody was injured during the incident, the Minooka Police Department announced.
The investigation determined that someone went to the home, broke out a window and threw an explosive device into the home, Minooka police chief Justin Meyer told Patch.
The event caused what Meyer described as "superficial" damage to the kitchen and dining room areas.
