Forest Preserve's Four Rivers site in Channahon to close for paving
Four Rivers Environmental Education Center and McKinley Woods - Kerry Sheridan Grove will be closed for paving from June 26-29 and July 6-8.
The Forest Preserve District of Will County's Four Rivers Environmental Education Center and McKinley Woods – Kerry Sheridan Grove in Channahon will both be closed for paving work from June 26-29 and July 6-8.
The visitor center and the preserve and its trails will be closed as the work takes place. The preserve's roadway and parking areas are being completely repaved this summer. Additional closure dates may be needed later in July and those dates will be posted on the Forest Preserve's website once they are known.
The paving work will not affect McKinley Woods – Frederick's Grove.
