Furnace Problem At Lallos Causes Strip Mall Evacuation: WJOL

CHANNAHON, IL — A Channahon restaurant is closed indefinitely after firefighters found smoke pouring out of the vents. The emergency at Lallos Bar & Grill & Family Restaurant prompted authorities to evacuate the entire commercial strip mall on Tuesday morning.

Joliet's news radio station, 1340-AM WJOL, reported that firefighters determined that smoke was coming out of the restaurant's furnace and the furnace was the problem.

Lallo's will remain closed until Channahon village officials give the green light, officials told Patch. The strip plaza is near Route 6 and West Reed Street.
