Future Millionaire Bought Lotto Ticket In Channahon

CHANNAHON, IL - The winning Illinois Lottery Lucky Day Lotto ticket from Wednesday evening's drawing was sold at a liquor store in Channahon. The ticket is worth more than $1 million.

The winning Quick Pick ticket was purchased at USA Liquors, 25228 W. Reed St. in Channahon and matched all five numbers - 14, 18, 27, 31 and 45 - according to Illinois Lottery officials. The prize is for $1.3 million.

The liquor store gets 1 percent of that amount, which comes to $13,000, for selling the winning ticket.

The winner has one year from the date of the drawing (Dec. 20) to claim the prize at one of the state's five prize centers.
