Heavy Equipment Mishap In Channahon: WJOL
The Coal City man has been airlifted to one of the Chicago area hospitals, WJOL reports.

CHANNAHON, IL - A man from Coal City who was operating heavy equipment at a construction project has suffered significant injuries to his arms on Wednesday afternoon, WJOL AM-1340 news radio station reports. WJOL's Scott Slocum, who is a Channahon resident, went to the scene and reported that the injured man was working on a Channahon Park District project at the Arroyo Trails Park when his piece of heavy equipment flipped over.
The man was trapped underneath for several minutes before rescuers were get him out. The heavy equipment operator was later airlifted to one of the Chicago area hospitals after suffering injuries to his arms, WJOL reported.
