Heroin Death At Goose Lake: Morris Man Arrested By Grundy Sheriff
On March 26, 2020, Grundy County deputies were sent to the 3200 block of North Lakeside Drive near Coal City for an overdose death.

COAL CITY, IL — Nearing the two-year anniversary of Keegan Kenney's Fentanyl overdose death at the Goose Lake subdivision near Coal City, Grundy County Sheriff Ken Briley announced the arrest of 24-year-old Morris resident Scott Robbins on Friday morning.
Robbins is charged with drug-induced homicide, unlawful delivery of a controlled substance and criminal drug conspiracy. On Thursday, Robbins turned himself at the Grundy County Jail. His bail is set at $250,000.
On March 26, 2020, Grundy County deputies learned of the overdose on North Lakeside Drive at Goose Lake. Kenney was dead at the scene.

During the past two years, Grundy County sheriff's officials obtained electronic communications indicating Robbins brought what he thought was heroin to Kenney shortly before her death, sheriff's officials announced Friday.
The Grundy County Coroner's Office autopsy reports determined that Kenney died from Fentanyl and Diphenhydramine intoxication.
