Information Sought on Coal City Residents Displaced by Tornado

The Village of Channahon has asked the City of Joliet, along with other area communities, to assist them in obtaining contact information for any Coal City residents who may be temporarily residing in our community as a result of the tornado that occurred on June 22, 2015. The purpose is to provide information regarding the community, schools, etc. to any of the affected Coal City residents.

If you know of a community member or, if you, yourself, have opened your home to help a Coal City resident who was impacted, please send their contact information (name, phone number, email address, and Coal City home address) to the attention of Channahon Village Administrator Thomas J. Durkin at tdurkin@channahon.org. Mr. Durkin and his staff will assemble the list of names and forward to the Village of Coal City as they receive them.
