JCA Inducts Mike Alstott to Hall of Champions

Joliet Catholic Academy has announced Mike Alstott, class of 1992, as an inductee to the school’s Hall of Champions.

According to a YouTube video posted by JCA, Alstott led the JCA Hilltoppers to the class 4-A state championship in football in 1990. He played in college at Purdue and 12 years in the NFL as a fullback with Tampa Bay.
Former Joliet Catholic Academy Football Coach Bob Stone said Alstott is just one in a long line of what JCA students have represented for the community, namely hard work and a genuinely nice demeanor

“He was quiet and a hard worker and that’s how he lived every day,” Stone said.
Former JCA Varsity Football Coach Dave Douglas said Alstott has worked hard to get to where he is today and congratulates him for his efforts.
“I think you’re a great example for us to follow,” Douglas said.
