JJC Rental Service Could Cut Student Textbook Costs in Half
The new service will begin in time for summer classes this year.

This summer, Joliet Junior College students will be able to use a new service that will accept scholarship and financial aid money to rent their textbooks, according to a Herald-News report.
The new service, which begins April 27 at the college’s bookstore, could save students almost half of what they’d normally pay for textbooks, the report stated. The college had offered a textbook rental service before, but it wouldn’t allow students to use their scholarship or financial aid funding to pay for it, the report added.
