Local gymnasts heading to the AAU Nationals Competition
I&M team gymnasts Samantha R. and Lexi K. 'love' that they will be competing next month at the AAU Gymnastics Nationals

Samantha Reiter and Lexi Kronberger (L to R) from I&M Gymnastics in Channahon 'love' that they will be competing and representing the Central Division next month at the AAU Gymnastics Nationals.
Lexi Kronberger (Level 7), and Samantha Reiter (Level 3) will be traveling along with their coaches Izzy Broberg, and Tera Smith to Orlando's ESPN Center to compete in the National competition. The gymnasts just completed their regular competition season where they placed within individual events and in All-Around competitions. They will be competing for Team Central. This includes gymnasts from Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan, and Iowa.
The I&M team heading to the Nationals is reduced from previous years due in part that the AAU did not include a Boy's Gymnastics competition this year. Overall, both the boy’s and girl’s I&M teams have had a successful year. They have brought home numerous Gold, Silver, and Bronze individual awards as well as helping their team secure many 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place team awards.

Over the past few months the gymnasts have participated in various fundraisers throughout Channahon, Minooka and neighboring communities. The gymnasts are appreciative of the generosity and support provided by those that have contributed to help the I& M team and those headed to the National competition, and offer thanks to both Channahon and Minooka Casey’s General Store, Jewel-Osco Minooka, and a special thanks to Von Holton Eyecare for their generous donation.
