Channahon Deputy Police Chief Adam Bogart told Patch that police officers were called to the Channahon State Park around 6:30 p.m. on July 8 "for a man who was masturbating in the public park." Officers observed Hollis' behavior and took him custody, however, officers determined that Hollis may be suffering from a psychiatric mental illness, Bogart said.
At that time, officers brought Hollis to an area hospital, Bogart said.
