MCHS Recognizes Spring Athletic Signees

Several student-athletes will be continuing their careers at the collegiate level next year

MINOOKA, IL — On Wednesday, May 4, the Minooka Community High School Athletic Department celebrated the athletic accomplishments of several student-athletes who will be continuing their careers at the collegiate level next year as part of the school's annual Spring Athletic Collegiate Signing Night at MCHS - Central Campus.

  • Julie Czerniakowski, Softball - University of St. Francis
  • Christopher Drey, Track & Field - University of St. Francis
  • Zachary Earls, Baseball - University of St. Francis
  • Drake Fryman, Lacrosse - Otterbein University
  • Audrey Hanouw, Softball - Heartland Community College
  • Kevin Lam, Track & Field - Benedictine University
  • Miguel Lomeli, Track & Field - University of St. Francis
  • Hannah Rieker, Soccer - University of Montevallo
  • Larry Roberts, Basketball - Benedictine University
  • Matthew Sak, Lacrosse - Otterbein University
  • Brandon Salazar, Bowling - Judson University
  • Shannon Stuchly, Softball - University of Michigan, Dearborn
  • Jake Swank, Track & Field - University of St. Francis

During the evening, each honoree is recognized by one of his or her coaches and then is also invited to address attendees.

The MCHS Athletic Department organizes two signing events each school year (one in the fall and one in the spring) to recognize the accomplishments of these outstanding student athletes. MCHS wishes these young men and women the best of luck as they continue their athletic and academic careers next year.
