Minooka Dollar General Sports New Look, More Products

Public invited to attend grand reopening May 2.

The Dollar General in Minooka is sporting a new look and more products and is inviting the public to come check it out at its grand reopening May 2.

Dollar General Store Manager Erika Binder said the store has been at its current location, 518 W. Mondamin Street for seven years, and wanted to let people know of the store’s new look and products.

“We’ve expanded a lot of our items,” Binder said. “We have a lot more dollar items and just changed our overall look”

New products include an expanded line of food products and more health and beauty items.

The store’s new look includes a different layout and expanded aisles. New signs have also been made.

The first 200 customers at the store May 2 will receive a free Dollar General tote bag with merchandise. Mailers will also be sent out to residents to inform them of the event.
