Minooka HS Principal Resignation Was Mutual, WJOL Told
A school board meeting was held on Tuesday where the resignation came up.

MINOOKA, IL -Students from Minooka High School packed their auditorium for Tuesday night's school board meeting because the students were angry about the upcoming resignation of high school principal Ron Kiesewetter, Joliet's news radio station reported. According to WJOL, the principal's resignation was a mutual decision between he and the upper administration for the Minooka Community High School District.
The radio station reported that students at the high school were spreading rumors that the principal was forced to resign because he stood up to a school board member who allegedly made a racist comment. District 111 School Superintendent Kenny Lee told the Joliet radio station on Tuesday morning that rumors of a racist comment made by a school board member were not true at all.
