Minooka HS Senior Named Rotary Student of the Month

MINOOKA, IL — Minooka Community High School senior Peter Klepec, son of Dan and Kelly Klepec of Minooka, has been named the Channahon-Minooka Rotary Club “Student of the Month” for October.

In the classroom, Peter maintains a 4.0 grade-point-average (on a 4.0 scale), and has been recognized on the MCHS high honor roll.

Outside the classroom, Peter is a member of the boys cross-country team, the boys tennis team, and National Honor Society.

Away from MCHS, Peter is active in various aspects of his parish, St. Mary’s Church in Minooka, including its Youth Group Program.

In the fall, Peter plans to attend the Joliet Junior College, where will begin his studies toward a career in broadcasting and sports journalism.
