Minooka HS Senior Named Rotary Student of the Month

In the classroom, Corbyn Holman maintains a 3.22 grade-point-average and has been recognized on the MCHS honor roll.

MINOOKA, IL — Minooka Community High School senior Corbyn Holman, daughter of Chris and Susie Holman of Minooka, has been named the Channahon-Minooka Rotary Club “Student of the Month” for November.

In the classroom, Corbyn maintains a 3.22 grade-point-average (on a 4.0 scale) and has been recognized on the MCHS honor roll.

Outside the classroom, Corbyn has participated in a wide variety of school groups and organizations, including French National Honor Society, Marching Indians, concert band, choir, madrigal singers, Essence, and spring musical (cast and crew).

Away from MCHS, Corbyn is active in various aspects of her church, including its choir and drama club. She also participates as a volunteer in many capacities there.

In the fall, Corbyn plans to attend Western Illinois University, where she will major in music education and minor in business as she prepares for a career in elementary music education.
