Minooka HS Senior Named Student of the Month

Congratulations!

Congratulations are extended to Minooka Community High School senior Joseph Badalamenti, son of Tom and Sue Badalamenti of Channahon, for being named the Channahon-Minooka Rotary Club “Student of the Month” for March.

In the classroom, Badalamenti maintains a 3.36 grade-point-average (on a 4.0 scale), and has been recognized on the MCHS honor roll throughout his high school career.

During his time at MCHS, Badalamenti has participated as a member of Future Business Leaders of America, and has served as the light and sound technician for the school’s annual fall play, spring musical, and Children’s Theatre productions, in addition to many other special events at the school.

Outside MCHS, Badalamenti has served as a volunteer for the Will and Grundy Center for Independent Living, as a camp counselor for Channahon United Methodist Church, and as a confirmation sponsor for St. Ann’s Church in Channahon. Additionally, Badalamenti has earned his Cisco Networking Academy CCNA Routing and Switching Certification.

In the fall, Badalamenti will attend Joliet Junior College where he will major in computer science and minor in computer networking in preparation for a career as a computer network analyst.
