HOLLYWOOD, CA —Hulu miniseries "Pam & Tommy," which stars Minooka native Nick Offerman, has wrapped filming, according to ScreenRant.com. The project is one of two streaming-services shows Offerman has been filming recently.

"Pam & Tommy," according to ScreenRant, is about the mid-1990s relationship between Baywatch actress Pamela Anderson and Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee, which included a notorious sex tape. According to sources, the series stars Lily James as Anderson and Sebastian Stan as Lee. Actor Seth Rogan reportedly is an executive producer and will star in the series, as well.

According to reports, "Pam & Tommy," which began filming in Los Angeles in early April, will be an eight-episode limited release series. Though Hulu has not announced a release date.

Offerman, according to Deadline.com, will play Uncle Miltie, the big, burly legendary porn impresario, who helps Rogan's character distribute the infamous sex tape.

While one Offerman project is about a legendary 1990s couple, another brings a beloved 1990s movie to the small screen.

In late June, the Hollywood Reporter reported that Offerman would star in a key role in Amazon's series "A League of Their Own," which will be based on the 1992 film directed by the late Penny Marshall and starring Tom Hanks. The series, like the movie, is about the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League, which existed in the 1940s and early 1950s.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Offerman, will play Rockford Peaches manager Casey "Dove" Porter, based on Hanks' role of Jimmy Dugan in the film.

Offerman's fictional character is described as a former Cubs pitcher who is most famous because his forkball killed a dove in mid-air during a game. The character was thought to be the next big Major League Baseball star, but blew out his arm.

Offerman, perhaps best known for his role as Ron Swanson on "Parks and Recreation," is a die-hard Cubs fan, and he has performed "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" at Wrigley Field on multiple occasions.

According to CinemaBlend.com, "A League of Their Own" began filming in Pittsburgh in July and is due to wrap in October. At that point, more will be known about when audiences can expect to see the series on Amazon Prime Video.

Before then, Offerman will be seen in Netflix's "Colin in Black & White," an original series about the childhood of former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick. Offerman plays Colin's adoptive father Rick Kaepernick.

Offerman's other recent roles include Fox's animated show "The Great North," and FX shows "Devs" and "Fargo," according to the Hollywood Reporter.
