Minooka School Bus Hit by Car
Three students were taken to the hospital as a precautionary measure, but no one was injured.

Three Minooka students were taken to the hospital as a precautionary measure after a car hit a bus Thursday morning.
The accident occurred at 8:15 a.m. when the driver of a Kia rear-ended a bus near Ridge and Wildy roads, according to a report from the Herald-News.
Despite the kids being taken to the hospital, no one was injured. The bus was taking the students to Minooka Community High School.

The driver of the Kia was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
A phone message left with the Minooka Police Dept. was not immediately returned Thursday.
