Motorcyclist Killed In Braidwood Wreck

The Will County Coroner's Office said an autopsy was scheduled for Tuesday, Dec. 24.

BRAIDWOOD, IL — A young man from Braidwood was killed Monday when his motorcycle collided with another vehicle in Braidwood. The victim was identified as 25-year-old Bradley Lafever. He was pronounced dead at 6:52 p.m.

The Will County Coroner's Office indicated the fatality occurred on Coal City Road near Strip Mine Road. However, a local radio station reported the crash happened at Coal City Road and North Division Street and the intersection closed Monday night for more than four hours to investigate the deadly crash.

Braidwood's Police Department and Will County Sheriff's Department are leading the investigation, the coroner's office said.
