Need a Larger Waste Management Bin?
If you are a Channahon resident, there is a grace period to replace that little bin with a larger one for no charge.
residents will have a limited opportunity to upgrade their Waste Management cart from a 35 gallon to 64 gallon, free of charge. The online system is now open for requesting upgraded recycling carts.
Village Hall staff will not be able to record upgrade requests made by telephone, but Waste Management will take phone requests beginning April 30 at 800-796-9696.
Information from Waste Management will be arriving in residents' mailboxes this week or early next week.

The deadline to request an upgrade is May 15. Upgrades are free during this period. Future upgrades will be available, but they will come with a fee from Waste Management.
